If this is your first time at Dance Camp East, get ready for a truly special experience. This isn’t just a festival—it’s a vibrant, community-driven gathering where creativity, connection, and celebration come together in a beautiful outdoor setting.

🌞 Arrival & Welcome (July 19th)

The gates open midday on July 19th, giving you plenty of time to arrive, settle in, and start connecting with your new festival family. Our friendly core team will be there to greet you and help you get situated.

⛺ Setting Up Your Space

Find the perfect spot to pitch your tent or park your campervan. We’re a welcoming and inclusive community, and if you need help setting up or want to be placed near key areas like the toilets or main tents, just ask.

🍲 First Night Gathering (July 19th Evening)

Food brings people together, and on the first evening we invite everyone to take part in a meal-sharing circle. Bring something to contribute and join in a communal feast where we share stories and connect over food.

🌟 Opening Ceremony (July 20th, Midday)

The heart of the festival begins with our Opening Ceremony at midday on July 20th. This is where we set our collective intentions, gather as a community, and celebrate the start of a week filled with dance, music, and transformation.

Each day then unfolds naturally, filled with dance, music, movement, and deep connection. Mornings might start with yoga or meditation, followed by workshops, creative sessions, or simply relaxing with new friends. Evenings bring live music, storytelling, and gatherings around the fire—a place to share songs, laughter, and heartfelt conversations. There’s always a rich variety of experiences to explore. Whether you want to move, heal, create, or connect, the camp offers something for every soul.

Music is woven into the heart of the camp. Expect open mic nights, group dancing, silent discos, live performances, and drum circles, where you can let go and express yourself freely. Whether you’re playing, singing, or just soaking in the atmosphere, the energy is uplifting and welcoming.

Above all, Dance Camp East is about people. This is a place to connect deeply, to share stories, to form meaningful friendships, and to truly belong. Whether you’re coming solo, with family, or with friends, you’ll be embraced by a warm, open-hearted community. You are free to come for as long as you wish to join our community, although we prefer it if you can come for the entire duration of the festival.
