⛑️ Health & Safety ⛑️

We are excited to have you join us for a fun, family-friendly experience. Your health, safety, and enjoyment are our top priority. Please take a moment to read through the following important information to ensure a safe and enjoyable day for everyone.

🏥 Emergency Contacts

On-site medical assistance is available with trained first aid always being available. If you need help, please approach any staff member or head directly to the a designated first aider (you will be informed of who these are when you arrive).

🌟 General Health & Safety Tips

Stay hydrated throughout the day! Free water refill stations are located at many locations on site. We encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle. Protect your skin by applying sunscreen regularly.  Dress for the weather by bringing a hat, sunglasses, and light clothing for sunny days, and a jacket for cooler evenings. Wear comfortable footwear, as you may be walking or standing for extended periods, depending on how you like to spend your day! If you feel overheated, make sure you rest in one of our shaded areas or back at your tent / campervan.

🥘 Food & Allergies

We have our meals cooked in communal circles, so make sure to inform your circle of any dietary requirements you have at the start of the week. We also offer a variety of food vendors with options for all dietary preferences. Please, yet again check with the vendors about ingredients if you have food allergies. If you or your child has a food allergy, inform the vendor staff before ordering.

👦 Child Safety

Our site is small, so little ones will find it hard to get lost and within a few days everyone is a familiar face !

🔒 Security & Personal Safety

While we do not have mandatory bag checks, we reserve the right to inspect bags at any point if there are safety concerns. Stay alert and be aware of your surroundings. Keep an eye on your belongings and report any suspicious activity to festival staff / the core team immediately.

❌ Prohibited Festival Items

For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, the following items are strictly prohibited at the festival:

Illegal Substances: Any illegal drugs, controlled substances, or paraphernalia are not allowed.

Weapons: This includes firearms, knives, fireworks, or any objects intended to cause harm.

Pets: Except for service animals, pets are not permitted at the festival.

Please respect these guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable festival experience for all.

👂 Noise Levels

Loud music will be played only on select nights. This will be at the front of the field, so those with noise sensitivity should plan their camping location accordingly.

🗑️ Waste & Environmental Care

Please use the bins provided throughout the circle areas to help keep the area clean and orderly. Recycling stations are available to assist with reducing waste. Help us maintain the beauty of the festival by cleaning up after yourself and leaving the area as you found it, as this is not our land but Mother Earth’s (and Farmer Paul’s).

❤️ Respectful Behavior

We ask all attendees to maintain respectful behavior towards others, especially children and families. Aggressive behavior or inappropriate language will not be tolerated in any manner.

Thank you for being part of Dance Camp East! Let’s make this a memorable experience for all, filled with fun, laughter, and safety.
