♿️ Accessibility ♿️
At Dance Camp East, we are dedicated to creating a festival that is welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities or needs. Our community thrives on diversity, and we are committed to ensuring that every camper feels supported and can fully enjoy the magic of DCE.
Our festival site at Hulver Farm is wheelchair accessible, with the ground being mostly very flat and easy to navigate. Key areas such as communal spaces, workshops, and performance areas are thoughtfully designed to minimize obstacles and ensure smooth access. If you need assistance with camping arrangements, we can place you wherever best suits your needs—whether that’s close to the toilets, main activity tents, or any other preferred location.
Support Services and Inclusivity
We offer a range of services to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and included. Quiet spaces are available for those who may need a break from the vibrancy of the festival, providing a tranquil retreat. Our team is always available to assist with any questions or special requests, and we encourage open communication to ensure we meet the needs of all attendees. There are also fridges to store any medicine that you need for the duration of the festival.
We are proud to foster a family-friendly environment that supports people of all ages, with a dedicated children’s area, accessible activities, and inclusive workshops for everyone to enjoy. We encourage all campers to approach the festival with kindness and a spirit of mutual support, creating a safe space for all walks of life.
If you have specific needs or questions about accessibility, we invite you to reach out to our team ahead of time so we can do everything possible to ensure your experience is seamless and enjoyable. Dance Camp East is about coming together, celebrating our uniqueness, and creating connections—and that means making sure everyone can feel at home.
